Description

In pairing relevant stories and experiences with prompts to write your own reflections and notes, Build-her, Be Heard acts as a personal growth guide for women, helping them find support and success in their careers in construction or related fields. This book’s accessible language makes reading it and following its prompts feel like leaning on a trusted friend or advisor. Sectioned into weekly readings with self-reflection questions and activities, each part can be done at your own pace, based on your availability, and is intended to be revisited for future guidance. As you read and reflect, focus on your personal story, experiences, and values to create your own blueprint to success in a male-dominated industry. If you are reading this book as an ally or advocate, may this book help you to understand a different perspective and show you how you can continue to support the women on your team.
